How is it the end of April already? It only felt like yesterday that I was writing last months post. I guess time really does fly when you are having fun!
I was kinda worried that my reading count was going to be low this month as I didn’t do any reading for 2 weeks whilst I was on holiday but I did actually manage to read 8 books, god knows how I’ve managed to do that but hey I’m not complaining! These books were:
Brave Enough – Kati Gardner
Bad Boy Brody – Tijan
The Billionaires Claim: Obsession – Nadia Lee
Everless – Sara Holland
The Allure of Julian Lefray – R.S Grey
Furyborn – Claire Legend
Absinth of the Heart – Monica James
See Through Heart – Amie Knight
Favorite read of the month was definitely Everless. You can find my review here for all my thoughts on this books.
Beat the Backlist Update
This month I only managed 1 books for this challenge, I would love to count The Allure of Julian Lefray but this was a re-read so 🤷🏻♀️ anyway this brings my total to 11.
📖 Currently Reading: Chasing Spring by R.S. Grey.
📆 Pre-orders for May:
I’m so excited for all these books! May looks like its going to be an epic reading month! Tha’s all for now.
Welcome to my March round-up. This year really seems to be flying by, I can’t believe we are at the end of another month. This has been a good reading month for me, I’ve managed to get through 9 books and unfortunately one DNF:
Set the Pace – Kim Karr
Starfish – Akemi Dawn Bowman
Come a little Closer – Kim Karr
Ditched – R.C. Boldt
Our Unscripted Story – L.A. Fiore
Pestilence – Laura Thalassa
Shatter Me – Tahereh Mafi
Cracked Kingdom – Erin Watt
The Rules of Rebellion – Amity Hope
DNF: Clean – Juno Dawson
Beat the Backlist Update
I only managed 2 books this month, I had a few ARCs to get through which is the main reason for this. I totally forgot to do a tally last month so my total at the moment is: 10.
📖 Currently Reading: Brave Enough – Kati Gardner
I don’t have anything on pre-order for April at the moment.
Welcome to my February round, this past month felt like it has sped by compared to January but it is a shorter month that’s probably why. I really felt like I hadn’t read that many books during in Feb until I went back and counted them up, but I was happily surprised that I had read more than I thought.
The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
The Thing About Love by Kim Karr
Kissing Booth by River Laurent
Paper Princess by Erin Watt
The Prophecy by Jennifer L. Armentrout
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
The Hunt By Monica James
The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
I know I said in my last monthly round-up that I was hoping to read Iron Gold and Strange the Dreamer and although I have both of them sitting on my iPad ready to go I just didn’t get around to it. I admit that I am going to be holding off on reading Iron Gold until we are a bit closer to the release date of the next one, as for Strange the Dreamer I guess I’ll be getting to that at some point. The problem is I’m very much a mood reader so it makes it hard to predict what I’ll go for next. With that in mind, I won’t be putting “my next reads” into these posts anymore instead I’ll share what I’m currently reading and if I have any pre-orders for the coming month.
📖 Current read: Cracked Kingdom by Erin Watt 📆 Pre-orders for March: Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi
January has been a long month! I hoped to get this post out last week but I spent most of it in bed with the flu. Thankfully the worst has passed and I’m feeling more human again. On to reading, I’ve actually read more than I thought I had but I’m still behind which is annoying.
Books I have read this month are as follows:
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
Man Card by Sarine Bowen
Cruel Prince by Holly Black
Ryan’s Bed by Tijan
The Beau and the Belle by R.S. Grey
That Sexy Stranger by Nadia Lee
The Year We Hid Away by Sarina Bowen
Fair Game by Monica Murphy
Forgetting You, Remembering Me.
My BTB list challenge has not gone well this month I’ve only managed to squeeze in 3 books for that challenge – mainly because I’ve had a lot of ARCs to get through! Hopefully, next month will be better.
